Welcome to Swandive Counseling, Trauma and Anxiety Counseling in Tampa
Offering hope and a path to recovery.
Dive Deep.
If not now, when?
It’s Time
You’ve been holding it together for a long time now, and you’re tired.
The fear and unwanted memories that linger after trauma, anxiety’s ceaseless worry spinning endlessly in the background, the numbness and despair of depression – they’re holding you back from fully engaging in life, and you know it.
You desperately want change, but that means looking inward, and it’s scary. You’ve been avoiding that for a long time too. It’s like being stranded on the high-dive, unwilling to climb back down but too afraid to jump.
Are you ready to let go and dive deep? You don’t have to do it alone.
AREAS of FOCUS
Counseling is a place to learn coping tools, build skills, and, yes, to look inward - in a safe and supportive environment.
I am a level II Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have targeted training in treating PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression.
This training includes EMDR, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
As we work through these primary problems, we’ll also work through issues such as these:
Low Self-Esteem
Negative Self-Talk
Lack of Assertiveness
Soft Boundaries
Codependence
Attachment Issues
The right “fit” between counselor and client is the most important factor in the therapeutic process. Schedule a free, 20 minute consultation. We’ll talk, and you’ll get a feel for my style and approach.
If it feels “right,” we’ll move forward. If not, I’ll help you find someone else if you’d like.
Client Testimonials
Finally… I made a call that would change my life. I felt safe for the first time in a long time. She [Stephanie] makes me feel like I can and reminds me of how far I’ve come.
Stephanie is a skilled and compassionate listener. She offers valuable coping strategies and grounding techniques for the deeply feeling and/or anxious soul.
.…while I am a minority woman and Stephanie does not share that personal experience, she remained a solid place to share even the anxieties and concerns she could not personally relate to…
